Gentle, soothing, replenishing! Grass fed and finished Tallow is extremely gentle, non-irritating and loaded with vitamins A, D, E & K. It is the closest fat to human skin and assists you in nourishing your skin on a cellular level. We use it as the largest portion of the soap.

But then we add a rich natural Butter and Super Oil to lend more skin rejuvenating properties! This soap will cleanse and restore without stripping the skin. It has a uniquely beneficial, smooth lather, turning your everyday bath into a moment of intentional care.

  • Calamine - This is a truly unscented soap, so you will smell the scent of gentle soap. That’s it.

    Chamomile - Sometime described as Apples and fresh Hay, Chamomile has a beautiful, calming floral aroma fit for a king…or you!

    Dead Sea - This soap is unscented, however many people smell a light “salty” scent due to the amount of Dead Sea ingredients.

    Fresh - A truly fresh and bright scent. Like a walk along a sparkling Southern Spring creek, it has hints of Lavender, Roses, and Citrus! A customer favorite and one of our favorites here at Spero as well!

    Lavender + Patchouli w/ Lanolin - Lightly scented with Lavender + Patchouli. The Neem lends a subtle earthy scent as well. The overall scent is earthy Lavender.

    Lavender + Yogurt - Classic Lavender that is sweet and relaxing.

    Oats & Honey - Completely unscented, but many people find the Oats and Honey impart a light, pleasant scent of both the Oats and the Honey.

    Turmeric + Ginger - A blend of mostly Turmeric and Ginger, with a side note of Lemongrass with a hint of Bitter orange.

  • The purchase is for one* full sized bar of soap. Due to the handmade, small batch process, weights and dimensions vary slightly.

    All dimensions given are approximate: thickness 7/8 inch, height 2.5 - 3 inches, width 3 1/8. Weight approximately 4.25 - 5 oz

    *Multiple soaps are shown to show the differences that inevitably happen in the handmade process. This is considered part of the beauty of handmade that no two bars are alike.

  • Wet, lather, and apply to skin, avoiding eyes. Rinse.

    For handcrafted soaps like ours, a raised soap dish works best so as to not allow it to sit in water. Allow to dry as much as possible between uses. One way to do this is to keep two soaps side by side in a well draining soap dish. *We never use chemical hardeners (such as SLS or SLES) in our soap. This will make it softer if allowed to sit in water.

  • Why aren’t your Tallow soaps just Tallow?
    Tallow is great in soap - to a point! It makes a hard, long lasting bar that is great for most skin types. But sadly it does not lather as well as other oils & fats. So we pull in other oils in small amounts to create a great lather (Coconut & Castor), and extra skin nourishment through Butters, Jojoba and other Super Oils. This gives it all the benefit of Tallow, but making it even better than just Tallow!
